TRIPLETS

I was going through photos to have printed, this morning, when I ran across this one and a couple others, I had forgotten about. This photo was taken just after we crossed the Mississippi River into IL, aboard the Winfield Ferry, in early July. Triplets must be pretty rare. We see twins while driving through the park to the condo, many times, but I think this is my first sighting of triplet fawns. Aren't they sweet?

We postponed a day trip, we had hoped to take this week. The temps are higher than we expected, so we decided to wait till cooler weather.
In lieu of the day trip, I'm house cleaning! We had a call from a realtor yesterday, who sold a nearby lot to a couple from the city. They are interested in, perhaps, having our builder construct their home. The builder gave them our name. The realtor, who is also an acquaintance of ours, called on their behalf, to ask if a tour of our home would be possible, for Sunday afternoon. Well, you can imagine the thoughts and lists going through my mind, when I heard this!
When I get the old home place spiffed up for this visit, I'll try to get some photos of corners you haven't seen. Will post about them soon!

Cute photo. I'm sure you're busy getting ready for those visitors. How nice that they like your home so much that want to use your builder!

I can't imagine your home, in need of much spiffing up. :-)

And sorry your Hydrangeas are not blooming this year. Do you give them spray-with-hose 'plant food' and whatever the nutrient is ~ they like? I don't know all the details but husband=gardener does both those things.

Loved the triplets! We saw a trio in SE Wisconsin on Saturday, but I was so busy getting my camera out when we saw two leaping across the road, that I missed the third. And of course I didn't get a picture of any of them.

I agree with others, your home does not need spiffing! :)

I have never heard of deer triplets, poor mum, she must work hard! I hope no one wants a tour of our house this week :-)

I don't think I've ever seen triplet fawns either. We are postponing day trips too due to the incredible heat. Can hardly wait for cooler weather. Don't work too hard cleaning!!

We'll be in Pigeon Forge celebrating hubby and son's birthday week after next. They both love eating breakfast at The Apple Barn Farmhouse. Then we'll drive to Cades Cove in search of lots of deer photos. Wish you could go out there when in the area, but the cove might be snowed in in December. xoxo

Triplets must be quite rare, how lucky you were to see them..!
I doubt your home needs much spiffing Pat..!

Pat, did I ever tell you my most favorite, endearing thing you ever said? Well, it was when you said something like....it doesn't always look like the pictures, we are kind of messy sometimes! Warmed my heart! In the last year, chasing dust bunnies every single minute just has not been as important. But my DD makes sure I know how messy I am.

Happy cleaning. Ask for a commission, because your house will certainly make them chose your builder!

Pat, the deer picture is wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen a fawn with that many spots.

You know what's going to happen when the people come to see your home.....she'll ask if she can hire you to decorate! Just forwarning you ;-)

So sad about the bridge collapse. I couldn't help but think of you and all the times you've crossed the Mississippi.

Dear Pat,
I agree with Donna! You should recieve a "Bonus" for your efforts!
I too would not think you would have very much cleaning to do, your house house looks perfect!
Cool down will come in September!
Too hot for me to be outside very long.

Awwww, that is just a precious pic, Pat. Wish we had more deer around to see, but we don't get all that many out, even though our neighborhood is surrounded by woods.

No, I can't imagine that you need to do all that much cleaning either. It always looks immaculate to me.

Oh there is nothing like company to make me clean the corners!
Sometimes I pretend there is going to be company :)
Can you imagine being a deer and giving birth with all of those spindly legs to deal with LOL?

Hi Pat! I don't think I've ever seen triplets before. They are darling little things~if only they would stay off of the roads!

I'm sure your house is always 'company ready'! What a compliment from your new neighbors! I seem to be having trouble keeping up with my blog this summer--hope I do better this fall. Have a great day and stay cool!

Such a beautiful photo. We spotted a Mother with twin fawns on vacation last year , but I have never seen three. I think it must be rare ~they are gorgeous.

Oh, I love the triplet fawns. Cute! You mentioned that you were blog hopping in between cleaning, when you came by to visit. LOL, I understand now that this was the real deal for cleaning the house! By now you must be enjoying the fruits of your labors. Have a fun time with your visitors today! :-)

So glad that you came by, and enjoyed those camellias, too!
