An Endless Summer Hydrangea, in our garden, color enhanced in Photoscape editing program.
Our Endless Summer Hydrangeas are showcased, today, along with other plants, an outdoor chandelier, and an old pump.
We have two Endless Summer Hydrangeas, next to the patio. They are beginning to bloom and putting on quite a show.
Stop by A Southern Daydreamer, for beautiful gardens throughout the land of blog, each Wednesday.
An old water pump we bought at a country auction, many years ago.
We remade an old light fixture, from our home on the farm. It was “antique” brass. After the wiring was removed, the metal was spray painted satin black. I use chunky Colonial Candles, for this outdoor chandelier.
***EVENTS***
Marty at A Stroll Through Life is hosting a cloche party, June 19th. The party also includes apothecary jars, as well as other clear glass containers. Click this LINK, for more details.
Stop by, each week, for discussions about blogging and interior design, on the radio, with Joni Webb of Cote de Texas, Linda Merrill of Surroundings, & Megan Arquette of Beach Bungalow 8.
I’ve enjoyed each and every discussion and recommend stopping by. Clicking the title, The Skirted Round Table, will take you there.

The chandelier and the hydrangeas are lovely but my favourite is the old water pump, what a great thing to have in your garden.
Oh Pat...I am just pea green with envy over your stunning hydrangea. One day before I die...I am going to grow them in my yard.
Your outdoor chandelier is just the cutest thing...my head is already spiining with thoughts of how to make one for myself.

Morning Pat, Wonderful shots of my favorite flowers. Jacob is the pump fan in our family. I had to buy him one from Fleet Farm when he was little. He is an old soul stuck in a young boy. I'll have to give the Skirted Roundtable a try - it's getting rave reviews around blogland. Thanks for the heads up. ~ Robyn
The pictures of your hydrangeas are beautiful. They are becoming my favorite flower. So intricate and abundant, beautiful color and simply beautiful. I think you captured them perfectly.
I'm envious of anyone with hydrangeas in their yard. Some of the prettiest ones I have ever seen was somewhere northeast of St. Louis in a little river town. Yours are beautiful, as well. Sally
Beautiful Pat! I love hydrangeas & seem to be addicted to them. Everytime I go to the nursery, I want to bring home more!
Loved the chandy makeover. What a great idea!
☺♥☺ Diane
Morning, Dear Pat! Oh, look at your gorgeous hydrangeas! I love these. I bought one this year and have it in a pot and so far no more blooms, but I do see new growth. So maybe I can grow this! I love them so.
Love the old pump and that chandelier - just perfect!
Hope your week is going well.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I love everything you showcased today but especially the chandy.
Your flowers are beautiful...
OMG! Pat, your hydrangeas are gorgeous! They're among my all-time faves! If I could get them to grow - I'd have as many as I could fit. That chandelier is beautiful too! I can't wait to see your garden once summer has kissed it for a few more weeks - it's going to be AMAZING!
Those hydrangeas are just beautiful and I LOVE the chandelier...perfect!
Just lovely, lovely, lovely! The hydrangea pics are breathtaking. I love the water pump, it reminds me of the one at my Gramps/Grams old farm. That was the coldest water you could ever imagine coming from that pump. We kids used to fight over who would do the pumping. LOL
And that chandy just rocks. Now I will have to be on the lookout for an outdoor chandy for my back deck. Thx so much for sharing!
Barb
Oh Pat, your hydrangeas are absolutely gorgeous! Love the pump and the chandelier, too. You have the magic touch when it comes to decorating. (And gardening and photography, too!) ;)
xoxo,
Mary
Now you gotta love that title of yours today, Pat! Made me very curious! I also like the texture of that old pump. I can almost feel the warmth of the sun on its black surface. Texture is my new "pretty."
Brenda
What a cool idea for the chandelier. I love it. I looked at a light system for the table and it was $60. And, I'll bet it wasn't even half as romantic as that chandelier!
I always check out what you are doing (follow you on my site). I love the whole site from the flowers, to the lake, to the food, and especially your visitors. You have exceptional taste. I was looking forward to a cloche party, excited in fact. Then I am puzzled why would anyone have a 'glass' hat party? Could it be felt? They mostly were in the 1920s -- my favorite era. Blessings, Jan
Pat - thank you so much for this! It is so sweet of you to mention The Skirted Roundtable. Go look at my blog on the left hand column - !!!!
thanks again so very very much.

Absolutely gorgeous photos Pat! One day I hope to learn more about photography so my photos will look better.

Your hydrangeas are gorgeous! They're one of my favorite flowers, but some reason I had never planted any until a couple of weeks ago. We planted a couple of Endless Summer babies in our backyard and I can't wait until they're lush and full like yours.
I love the old pump and your chandy redo also. Happy OW!

The pump is such a nice touch and the flowers..., oh if only I had a green thumb like that. It's so gorgeous.
The pictures are really good shots. Clear and crisp. It must have been the perfect time of day for picture taking. Not to mention the photographers know how.

That hydrangea is beautiful. I have been thinking of getting some and your pictures may have just pushed me over the edge.
Our hydrangea are very young and just about ready to bloom. Hope they are as pretty as yours in a few years.
Your water pump is so cool. That says "country summer" to me. When I was a kid my best friend lived on a farm and we used a real one to clean up before entering the house.
That chandlier is to die for. So lovely. My hydrangeas are just starting to open. YOurs are awesome.
Good morning Pat :)
and here I thought I was so brilliant by taking out my chandelier guts LOL
Your hydrangeas are beautiful and I love that water pump!
Oh and congratulations to Xanti :)
hugs,
rue
Good morning Pat, Your hydrangeas are so beautiful. I haven't planted any yet but I love them. Your photos are lovely. The pump and the chandelier are both a great addition to your garden and porch. You come up with thr best ideas for an original decorating idea.
The lady that owns the antique shop I featured, sent me an email about three items I post from St. Charles. (I notified her when I featured her shop.) They were from her shop. Oops. I have been so many places I mixed the photos up. St. Charles followed our visit there. LOL. I fixed it by adding them to her post. I am still smiling about it.
Hugs...Jeanne
Pat, I love your blog. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous! Mine never put on a show like that!
My daughter is getting married here at our home next June, and I am sure going to try to get mine lush like that!
Love your black table, and wondered, aside from signing up for JCPenney emails, how do you find out about the Wed. deals?
Thanks so much.
Kris

Mine is still trying to bloom and I think it needs a little sunshine and warmer weather.
I also wanted to thank you for your recipes, corn, potato salad and ribs.
I made them for my family this weekend and I got so many comments on how delish every thing was. So I must say thanks to you.
Loved them.
Pat - Your hydrangeas are wonderful. I need to plant some in our yard.
Yesterday I was in All About Home picking up a couple of things. You would have been so pleased to hear all of the wonderful things she said about you! She is so delightful.
My daughter bought me a cloche with a stand from there for my birthday. I am so excited to see the posts that are coming. I have a little something in mine now but I am sure I will see some great ideas.
Take care and thanks for your lovely post.
Charla
Your hydrangeas are absolutely breath taking. They are my absolute favorite and someday I would love to fill my yard with them. What a neat old water pump and chandelier!!! I have an old chandelier I will have to try that with!
Heather:)
Beautiful pics, Pat! All your flowers look so pretty. My hydrangeas were all lush too until the heat got to them already. We've had some hot sun & they are starting to get parched a little, which I hate to see, but they are tough plants.
It was a joy to visit in your garden today.
Mama Bear
Beautiful hydrangeas, Pat. They are my favorite next to Lilacs. What a fabulous idea, your outdoor chandelier. It is so great looking! Hugs ~cindy s~

Hi Pat
Your hydrangeas are beautiful. Don't you just love how they change color as they mature. Great idea for the chandelier. Hope you enjoy today.
Hi Pat! I hope you're enjoying this beginning to summer. If MO is getting a cooler summer, I hope some of the cool air drifts down our way!
Those hydrangeas are just gorgeous. Once our porch is finally finished, I hope to plant some in front of it.
I love that old water pump. What a great find!
Although we have many hydrangeas in our yard, we put in our first "Endless Bloom" plant last year. We love it and are going to plant some more!
I have the same hydrangea and adore it! I love your chandelier and water pump! Your backyard looks so inviting and beautiful.
I love your hydrangeas. Mine are just starting to bloom. It's the first time & I am so excited. I love the water pump!!!
Oh my gosh, Pat. I love how you took the wiring out and put candles in the chandelier. What a neat idea to put it outside!
