~Monday Wash Day and Other Adventures~

washdayB

While exploring, Wednesday morning, we stopped at Farris Market, in Camdenton, Missouri, where we saw this old washing machine, thickly planted with coleus, sweet potato vine and other plants. I couldn’t resist taking a couple of photos, then editing them in Photoscape, for Mosaic Monday.

Three older houses, in Camdenton. The house in the center is a shop. I haven’t visited the shop, but hope to.

The light colored brick house is for sale. I found it online. There were a couple of interior photos. Beautiful rooms.

The detail, in the darker brick, is wonderful!

CakeA

A dessert, I prepared for a get together, set against an Ozark sunrise.

The dessert is just plain old Dump Cake. Two cans cherry pie filling, one can crushed pineapple (drained), dumped into a sprayed 9x13 baking dish. Top the fruit with a 6 ounce package chopped pecans. Spread dry yellow cake mix over fruit and nuts and dot with one stick butter. Bake at 350 F, about 45 minutes or until crust is golden. Serve warm or cold, with whipped topping or ice cream. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

More mosaics are found at Little Red House, each Monday.

We ordered a quick lunch at Culver’s drive-thru, Wednesday afternoon. Molly had a tiny treat. I wasn’t fast enough to get a photo of the milk bone garnish. It disappeared very fast!
