I was asked about the pewter pineapple in the Bell Book & Candle post.
I purchased the pineapple at Best of Missouri Market, 2008, at Missouri Botanical Garden, St Louis.
The pineapple was crafted at ASL Pewter Foundry, Louisiana, Missouri. We visited ASL Pewter when the shop was in Clarksville, Missouri.
If you are in the vicinity of Louisiana, Missouri, I recommend stopping by ASL Pewter. Visit the website HERE.
We’re on our way to the lake for a few days. I’ll check in from there during our stay.

Best wishes to you and J for a wonderful stay at the lake.
Take care.
if I had room for one more set of dishes... ha ha!
Ah, Pat, you've created a wonderful tablescape. Beautiful!
Girl you can take a picture like nobody's business! I just got a new camera for Christmas and I ridiculously thought that it would take perfect pictures. How foolish! It's not the camera that takes perfect pictures, it's the person behind the camera. Great job!
Kim
That is a very elegant tablescape.

The AA blue-and-white dishes are perfect year-round, but they seem especially lovely for winter. I love the ginko bowls, too. In between edits, I need to unpack my blue glassware. I just know I have blue plates stashed somewhere. You've inspired me! Have a restful weekend at the lake.
That is so beautiful Pat! I just love all your blues!!
There is a table I would love to sit down to! You really keep pulling out all the stops!

Your blue and white tablescape is beautiful. The orchid and pearl centerpiece is perfect with the china, glassware, etc.
I love the borders on those plates! Enjoy your time at the lake. Will it be frozen over? Whatever it is, I bet you will have beautiful pictures to show us. Sally
Oh, Pat, are you weary of hearing me say words like "beautiful" and "stunning" whenever I stop by? I literally sighed as I scrolled through your post. Beauty such as this always has a powerful effect on me. Your tablescapes with blue dishes are probably my favorites. Nobody does blue as well as you!
Warm regards,
Bill
Gorgeous! As always. I love your tablescapes - and your photography. ~Adrienne~
I love the blue, but then again I love anything you do.Great job.

I normally don't like Asian-themed dinnerware or furniture (being Asian myself, I am only partial to if it's authentic and from little Asian street markets in Asia), but these are quite lovely. The blue color gives a sense of delicacy, elegance, and charm that I haven't seen in a while.
Blue and white is good any time of year. It just blends in with eveyrthing.
It looks like you should have some nice days at The Lake. The last time we were there, the eagles were just everywhere. We won't be back until after our Florida trip.
Take care and enjoy your time. I am sure Marshalls and Tuesday Morning will have some great deals.
Charla
Classic blue and white is my all time favourite. It looks beautiful. Travel safely and enjoy your stay at the lake.
Pat, I love of a touch of Asian accessories in my home and if they are blue and white that is even better, you have set a lovely table and it just looks so inviting. I like the ginko serving pieces. Great Job as always, Kathysue

There's a lot of blue and white out there this week! I did blue and white with a large punch of pink, this week too!

Pat, this is lovely....again, your clean design is perfect!
I have never seen a frozen lake in my life...can you imagine? Ron keeps promising we will return to Missouri (where his family lives) in the winter to see one but somehow I think he has become a 'Florida boy' and can't take the cold! Ha. Have a wonderful time at the lake.
