This post continues the rural theme of previous posts, this week.
I am linking to Laurie’s Saturday Favorites
and
Marty’s Summer Cloche Party
Crocks have been a favorite for many years.
Another favorite can be seen on the wall in the background.
Sara Tetley’s Bench at Orange Cottage~
I recently purchased 4 other prints, by Sara Tetley, for the lake condo master bedroom makeover.
Sara’s Two Boats hangs on the window of the shutter/window wall arrangement in the dining area of the condo living room.
I am a huge fan of her beautiful work.
Roosters, chickens and cloches are also favorites.
The large cloche and stand are from All About Home, a local shop.
The rooster and hen, from Home Goods.
A blue green crock, handmade by a North Carolina artisan, sits under a chicken wire cloche. The crock was a gift from Jeanne, of Backyard Neighbor, when she and her husband visited Missouri in 2009.
Crocks are a special favorite of mine.
A bird on branch in iron, under a cloche, etched with branches.
Cloche and stand are from Nell Hill’s Briarcliff.
J’s blood test results were reported, yesterday. Coumadin is increased; another test in two weeks. It will work itself out, eventually.
Thanks so much for your support!
Enjoy your weekend!

Hope you're staying cool...we received rain last night and the temps are a teeny bit cooler, but the HUMIDITY is horrible!

Sweet Up-North Mornings...
I am not sure what you have against that poor Rooster, Bird, and those straws? Why must you keep them covered up in domes all of the time? Pretty shots as always. W.C.C.
I love your cloche collection. The wire cloche is so unique! Love it!
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Pat, I'm new to your blog.... Came here from Bill's blog--when he mentioned you as having great photos... AND --he is correct!!!!
I am enjoying your blog so much... Beautiful choches.
Check out my blog if you have a chance. Hubby and I are retired ---and grow Roses (along with lots of other flowers). We also love to hike (find waterfalls), and I love backyard birds....
Thanks for allowing me to visit.. I do have a question... How did you set up your "contact me" gadget on your sidebar?
Hugs,
Betsy
Just gorgeous, Pat. Love your photography!!
Barb ♥
Pat, love all your cloches, especially the chicken wire one, but the crockery makes my heart skip a beat!
Pat, You never cease to amaze me with your photography skills and all of your lovely accessories! You are inspiring me to pull out all of my stoneware crocks and pots that I bought 20 years ago... Love the added color of the straws in the wire cloche and the beautiful bird in the pedestal stand cloche.
hugs, Sue
Re: the J's coumadin- Mr. S's INR count has been really low for months. The dr. finally upped him to 17.5 mg. per day.
That seems like a lot, but he is finally at an acceptable INR level!
I absolutely love all of your crocks. They are stunning and so pretty displayed together. The wire cloche is perfect over the green one in your vignette. The grecian pedestal that you have the rooster on is so pretty and what a great display. Of course you know how much I love your iron bird on the branch. Gorgeous and when you put it under your cloche, it is fabulous. Gorgeous displays. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
Love your crocks and the wire cloche. Everything is always lovely at your house!!

The second I clicked on your blog, I felt I knew you from someplace, but for the life of me, I can't place it. Soooo, I did the next best thing and became a follower. We have much in common. I love crocks and the ones I have picked up on the east coast are my favorites. I also collect roosters, so seeing your cloche and the roosters was icing on the cake for me. Just beautiful, Char
