"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns."
- George Eliot
We are home from the lake for a week or two.
I’m working on getting the back porch ready for Fall.
Most of the things I used, for this table, you’ve seen before.
I am getting lots of good use from the woven Wal-mart placemats.
The green cloche/birdcage is from Schaefer House, Jefferson City MO, last Spring. I found the little “milking stool” and birds at Michael’s, last month. Other accessories and dishes, used in this setting, were found around the house.
Home Goods has lots of wonderful Fall accessories.
I found the pumpkin plates at Marshall’s, Osage Beach MO. If you have a base set of white dinnerware, it is easy to have a variety of table settings by adding colorful salad plates or other small dishes.
We continue having delicious Autumn weather.
Linking to Susan’s Tablescape Thursday.

I like those little pumpkin plates ...
Is that the bird cloche you posted the other day? Anywhoooo I love it! The pumpkin plates are wonderful and I love the little white bowls ??? they look like mini onion soup bowls. I saw similar ones in brown on clearance at JoAnns fabric store. You've just inspired me to run back and see if I can grab them. Thanks!
I just went back to check, now Im even more jealous because you have 2 of them and theyre both gorgeous. I only have 1 but I like it alot.
Hi
Awesome, I love to come to 'Back Porch Musings' for a visit. The table is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your life and home with me.
xoxo

Pat, your fall posts are beautiful, the children are back in school, but I just don't have the heart to give up summer yet! But I always enjoy my visits here, so no complaints! Beautiful photos of a beautiful home, as always!
Pat, I just love the blue background walls with your fall decor....gorgeous!
Pat, wonderful as always. Your settings never disappoint and they make me want to get busy with fall decor here. I love the milking stool in the birdcage.
Hi Pat! My you're a busy girl! I love this - as always! :) Your table is wonderful and that is a precious little bird cage and the color is so pretty!
I'm got to get my fall on! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Pat, Another beautiful table. The pumpkin plates and the birdhouse with the stool inside is adorable. It's always so fun to see your gorgeous home.
Hugs, Sherry
You must have tons of storage space for all those pretty dishes!
Pat,
I absolutely love the mix of all the Fall colors in this post! ! !
I, also, use various seasonal salad / dessert plates. The handles on your white bowls really set them apart; such an elegant touch!Thank you for this all inspiring Autumn post!
Fondly,
Pat
PAT,
Your table is Ohhhh, so pretty! I didn't put out anything autumny today, but I may have to tomorrow! Your table is SO gorgeous! I love all of your dishes, they are always so perfect!
Hugs, Cindy
Everything is so pretty but my favorite is the wire bird cloche....Christine
I saw those on Tuesday at Marshalls but they only had 3. I almost got the yellow ones but decided against it. Marshalls was not too busy on Tuesday but I am sure it had taken a "major hit" over the weekend. They had many new pictures and I found one for over the bar at our condo. I am finally on the down hill side of the decorating there. We just got home two hours ago and I am ready to go back. I need to be two people : O )
Have a great rest of the week.
Charla
Always so lovely and such a treat for the eyes, Pat. I love the wall color in this room! It's colorful, yet somehow manages to be a neutral, if that makes sense, and allows you to use so many other colors beautifully with it. I feel the same way about the aquas in my home.
One thing I especially love about this post (including the mini soup tureens!) is that you showed that people don't have to go out and buy a lot of new stuff but can use what they already have in creative ways. Beautifully done!
Hi Pat, thanks for swinging in today. Love, love, love the wired cloche dome.. how unique to use a crock for a wine cooler. Perfect!! May have to borrow that idea at some point.. lol.. Isn't the weather "great"???? Sure hope it holds, I heard they are calling for some nasty winds and rain to head our way... hugs ~lynne~
Pat, such a lovely tablescape again. I love the dishes and the leaf plates are such a fun color. Your birdcage is just the perfect centerpiece with the tiny stool inside as a lift and the pumpkins. Love those small tureens too. So pretty. You always give me such great inspiration and ideas. Thanks. Hugs, Marty
The texture of those place mats is just such a rich contrast for everything you use, Pat. I've got to find some. I keep telling myself I also need a basic white set of dishes. Would work with everything.
Brenda
Beautiful, Pat. I love the little soup tureens, they are truly original and SO cute! And I love the pumpkin plates!!

I just love the centerpiece. It's so unique. Beautiful plates and setting.
Lots of lovely goodies here! Of course I'm sure you know I love the birdies in the cage! But I really also love those green goblets, cute pumpkin plates and sweet little tureens. This is such a wonderful autumn setting!
So Pretty! Really like the wire cloche and green stemware. Makes me want to get some Fall decor out, but right now my dining table is still covered up in jewelry supplies, etc.
Still in a holding pattern with my daughter - hopefully soon. :D
Very lovely Pat - makes me think Autumn is on its way, thank goodness. I see the French Countryside peeking out - they are the best aren't they? Seems like they are not as available now though - at Macy's I only ever see Italian Countryside. Of course they are sturdy thank goodness and I haven't broken any yet!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog again, Pat. You made my day! Keep on posting these autumn-themed pictures because I am so ready for it to truly be fall. :)
Beautiful autumn table. Gorgeous!
I know what I need ~~~ twelve plain white dinner plates! Thanks for the tip ..... everything looks so lovely.

What beautiful accessories, Pat ... and you coordinated everything so perfectly, as usual. I love the contrast between the elegant emerald green goblets and the more rustic crockery and woven placemats ... only you could pull that off so beautifully.
I want to thank you for featuring my "Fall Decorating" post on your sidebar. What a compliment coming from you ... it truly brightened my day!
I can't wait to see your porch when you finish decorating it.
With best wishes to you and Jay for a happy Thursday ...
