~Fall Foyer~

Fall vignette in the foyer.

This space is difficult to photograph.

I am never quite happy with the results.  It was more of a challenge today, with the overcast skies, as we await rain from the south.

As we were leaving the lake, Tuesday morning, we noticed Dogwood leaves beginning to change.  Maple trees are showing a bit of color, also.

The feature post, this week, comes from Southern Lagniappe.

Janie has decorated her beautiful home for Autumn.

Love your foyer decked out for fall....your secretary is just beautiful! Your little rabbit is so cute :o)

Very pretty, Pat. It may be difficult to photograph, but it is a lovely and generously sized space. The bunny is a cute addition. I like how it reflects the bunny on the plate.

I'm happy to see your gold coloured frames. While I don't mind spray painting frames to change the colour, I also have kept some gold. I recently found a set of six prints with gold frames at a yard sale for $10. I plan to replace the prints, but I'm now inspired to keep the frames gold.

Love that wreath! So natural. I can't get good shots of my bathrooms. Too long and narrow.

Both of your homes are outstanding. This is just a gorgeous area. My secretary is so similar to yours and just tucked in my back bedroom/office...not cute at all. I really should work on that!

Your photograph is beautiful and what you are photographing is beautiful!! I had a small vignette to share this week, but with the overcast sky the last couple of days, I could not get a decent picture - Think I need a new camera.
I hope you are doing an album/book of all your photography and by category.
Enjoy your weekend.

I so much enjoyed looking at your beautiful vignettes! I was wondering if your gorgeous secretary is an antique or a newer piece because I am looking for one to go in my bedroom. I need a tall one like yours and most of them are shorter.

Your photos are incredible!

Hi Pat, I love the black and white photo. It looks very vintage. The rug is gorgeous. The secretary looks very festive too. It is no secret, your photos are awesome. You have really mastered your camera Pat. I do not have the patience to study and learn all of the settings etc. Maybe one day when my life is not so busy.

Have a wonderful weekend. Don't forget to fly your flag tomorrow.

Hugs, Jeanne
