~Barefoot in the Park~

Or the perfect day to just go fly a kite!
********************************************

Early this morning, J and I drove to the hospital. This is the day he donated blood for his surgery. We stopped for a hearty breakfast, on the way, as hospital staff advised for J.

All went well at the hospital. Just before J met me in the waiting room, I called our daughter. We made a plan to meet at an area park, for a picnic lunch and kite flying.

All of the grand kiddo's were there. We enjoyed watching Gabi and Drew play on the play ground. After lunch we walked over to the ball field to fly the kite, we bought Gabi and Drew, 2 years ago, when we visited Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island Michigan.

Kite flying!

What is a day of kite flying if the kite doesn't get caught in a tree at least once!
G'pa gallantly rescued the kite and the fun began again!
We're going to try to take off a couple days. We're hoping the weather continues to be as glorious as it was today, with sunshine, a nice breeze and temps in 70's (F).
