When we arrived home, from the lake, Monday afternoon, this is the beautiful sight that greeted us. Even though high winds and rain came through, while we were away, the roses held on! There were rose petals on the Hosta at the edge of the patio, yet the blooms of these two Knockout Roses were still thick and gorgeous. The hardiness of the Knockout is why we chose it for beside the steps, leading to the back porch. This shrub rose blooms all summer and fall, until frost.
