~Rose Cottage~

I'll let the photos, of Richard Cottrell's wonderful shop, speak for themselves.

I left with a serious Wish List!

I was asked if someone actually lives in the Elgin-Cottrell House. Richard and his faithful Beagle Prissy, who met us at the door, reside here.
********************************************
We stopped at Eagle Bluff Golf Club, just south of Clarksville, for Sunday Brunch. The following photos show the beautiful Missouri Fall scenery, that was our view.

I've linked this post at Hooked on Houses. Julia is hosting Hooked on Fridays, a blog party. I'm hooked on old homes, antiques and the state of Missouri!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Morning sweetie...I saw plenty of 'pretties' that I would want!!!!
lol Loved that little room with the washboard and aprons and that wagon wheel....ohhhhhh! In that last pic of the house was that a real crane on the roof or just a statue of one? The Eagle Bluff pics were my favorite..you always manage to capture pics that just make me sigh! Have a great weekend girl!

Hi Pat, This gentleman has superb taste and artistry to place things together for a beautiful effect. It must be hard for him to sell things or it would be for me to let some of those treasures go. I'm still impressed that he found you through your blog...small world. ;-) Bo

Hi Pat :)

That shop is gorgeous and if I lived there I would be broke! Do you think Richard would mind if my family and I just moved in with him? Shiloh and Prissy are probably cousins anyway ;)

Missouri is beautiful, but you know I'm partial to it since that's where my grandpa Papa grew up :)

rue
