~Fall is in the Air~

falltable1A

Stop by Susan’s Between Naps On the Porch, for inspiration on Tablescape Thursday.

Fall arrives next week.  With that in mind, I put together this table, using red, green, blue, orange, white and cream.

A new runner and towels, from Apple Wagon Antiques and Home Decorator Warehouse, near Kingdom City, Missouri, was the inspiration for this Fall table.

I fashioned a centerpiece using late summer hydrangea blooms, hosta leaves and ornamental grass plumes, from our garden; a log house (signed and dated 1997) made with lath from old St Charles Missouri buildings, faux pumpkins, an old ceramic turkey, and candle holders, made to look like birch logs. All items found here and there around our home.

The pumpkin salt and pepper shakers are from Marshall’s, Osage Beach Missouri.

You’ve seen the dishes, glassware and flatware in past tablescape posts, here at the Back Porch.

I used the towels as napkins tied with raffia.
