~Project Progress & Evergreen~

bird2A Good news reached us at the lake.  The camera is ready for pickup and the new chair has arrived and will be delivered this week!

The master suite project is almost complete and the camera is back in time for a little photo shoot!

The mosaic is just a small look at some of the changes taking place, in these rooms, bringing the suite to a more calming, less cluttered look.

A wonderful Dash & Albert rug has been placed in the room and a few other bits and pieces. When the chair is delivered and  little changes are complete, I’ll do a post, dedicated to the project.

In the meantime, here is a mosaic of some of the progress.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN AT EVERGREEN!

Lots to do, lots to see; including a room for the guys, complete with coffee and TV!

We visited Evergreen Mfg, at Osage Beach, last Tuesday.  While I shopped, J sat in the guys room, talking with a couple of other fellow’s, whose wives were shopping, too.

While we were there, a man approached J and asked his name.

We have personalized plates with a few letters that represent our name. He saw this and became curious. The fellow lives in Illinois and knows someone with our name, only spelled as it was/is, in Germany.

J’s family emigrated from Westphalia, during the 19th century.  Another coincidence; the “could be cousin”, is affectionately called Moose.  This was and is J’s nickname, also.  Small world.

I found a few things to bring home, including berries and silk magnolias for a Christmastime mantel.

Speaking of Christmas. Evergreen’s annual Christmas Open House is November 6 & 7. I hope to be there!

Stop by Mary’s Little Red House for beautiful Mosaic Monday!
