Postcard from beautiful Franklin, Tennessee…
As J and I drove through Franklin, Wednesday afternoon, I was ooohing and aahhing as we saw beautifully restored homes at every turn.
We returned, Thursday morning, to see more of these homes. We also took a drive on the Natchez Trace Parkway.

At just after 5 AM, Tuesday morning, April 13th, we left home, driving south and east, toward St Louis. About an hour later, the sun was rising as we crossed the Mississippi River, beginning our road trip to Tennessee.
We’ll drive north tomorrow (Friday), hoping to see more of Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois, before crossing the Mississippi at St Louis, for our return home.
I hope to post more Franklin photos, Sunday or Monday. Perhaps later next week I’ll have a few photos of the Natchez Trace Parkway, Kentucky, and Illinois.
