And not a drop to drink!!
November morning, Grand Glaize Arm, Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, as seen from our deck.
We are spending a few days at the lake, this beautiful first week of November.
Imagine our surprise and somewhat dismay, Monday afternoon when, upon our arrival, we rounded the corner and saw the scene, shown in the photos below.
A little waterline mishap!
The water line repair guys worked until a little after 5 PM, Monday evening. They left, with a promise to return, bright and early, this morning.
J went up the hill, to fetch a pail of…..oh that’s another story!
J went up the hill, this morning, and shot the “earth moving” photos. The guys are working away. We hope to have water, soon.
We usually keep bottled water. This time, no water. J met new neighbors, while walking Molly, yesterday. They generously gave him a gallon of drinking water. We will definitely stock up, when we make our trip to town, later today.
As of 10:00 AM, Tuesday morning, we have water!
This humble post is my contribution for Susan’s Outdoor Wednesday.
