Sunrise, in the beautiful Ozarks, Saturday September 6th.

Last week, life at the lake meant lots of rain. Then the sun came out Friday and the lake diamonds glistened across the cove.
Friday, J and I had lunch at On the Rise.
J chose to have a breakfast of biscuits and gravy. I had a Bistro Club, for lunch.
We shared a basket of fresh chips.
A dog bowl sits on the patio, just outside the door to the bistro.
Wednesday, I didn't let all the rain, courtesy of Gustav, stop me from doing a little shopping. The pear is from Marshall's, where I found a Fall wreath for the condo door and a Harvest sign, for the cabinet in the entry hall.
Below, a few photos from Marshall's. I resisted temptation, sort of. My only dish purchase was a white tureen similar to the orange one, in the last photo.

J has a follow up check up with the urologist bright and early Monday morning. We don't anticipate anything to worry about.I've enjoyed being able to access the Internet while here at the lake.
Have a wonderful week!
Some photos in this post were done with Kodak Easy Share and a small Samsung. Lighter weight cameras for carrying and snapping pictures while shopping.
The sunrise photos were taken with the Canon Rebel xti.

I always enjoy your posts so much Pat...and your photos are wonderful. The lake does just sparkle and glisten like diamonds. Such a pretty place!
The Bistro looks like a place Gene and I would enjoy. Anyplace with a dog bowl outside the door has to be great!!! Wonderful picture of you and J. I think it's a "framer".
I love you blog Pat...you just pack us all up and take us with you! love the doggie bowl pic! Cool place!
The lake pics are beautiful!
Hi Pat -
Your photos are gorgeous! I love the ones of sunrise on the lake - it reminds me of the lake where we were a week ago. And pictures of the shop. Oh my goodness - such pretty things. But I especially like the photo of you and J together.
You stopped by my blog and left a sweet comment. When I tried to reject a junk comment, I accidentally deleted yours! I tried everything I could to recapture it. Blogger tells me I can't. When it's gone, it's gone!! I'm so sorry. I promise I won't do that again.
Thank you for stopping by to visit and for leaving your sweet comments. I'll be back soon to see what you have to share.
~Adrienne~
Pat, I realize I only know you through your blog, but every time you share the magnificent photos you are taking - I feel so proud of you. You have really developed a talent for sharing the beauty that you see.
The pictures are awesome Pat. That little camera must be wonderful!
Love your pear from Marshalls! You made a great choice...love your taste!

Good morning Pat :)
The pictures are beautiful as always, no matter what camera you're using.
The food at the bistro has me starving now! Yum :)
I hope all goes well for J's appointment.
hugs for you both,
rue
Pat, as always, your photos are breathtaking. Looks like a lovely lunch. I love a good club sandwich!
One of the things I loved about France and Germany was that people take their dogs to the cafes, and there is usually a dog bowl full of water sitting there. Doesn't it just make you feel like the owners have a heart?
Absolutely spectacular!
Sounds like a nice weekend, Pat. I love the idea of the dog bowl at the bistro.
You took some gorgeous pics, as always. The lake looks so beautiful.
And, man, you made me want to check out Marshall's!
Oh! Such BEAUTIFUL pictures of the lake...then you tempt us with homeade potato chips and lunch (shame)THEN of beautiful stores and goodies. JUST TOO MUCH FOR THE SENSES!!!
Swoon.

Adriann
beautiful photos, your meal looks delicious!
so if you tell me not only was the sunrise beautiful, but the air was cool with a little bit of a breeze, then I'll just be completely jealous instead of mostly jealous :)
...and love that Pear!
Wow! Came across your blog. Wonderful pictures, specially the ones of the lake. Breathtaking!
Have a happy week.
Blessings, Virginia
Pat, I always enjoy coming to visit you. The lake pictures are so beautiful. They reminded me of my childhood growing up on a lake in Michigan. Great picture of you and J!
Hugs,
Penny
The lake pictures are so beautiful! What an amazing place to live. And I LOVED that acorn wreath!
I have been looking through your past posts and admiring your beautiful fall decor. My favorite is the tray on your table with the bunny, pumpkins, and other fall stuff. I am already planning in my head how I am going to copy that. Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm not sure how you do it, but I think you out do yourself every time you post another blog entry. The lake pictures are incredible and I feel like we are sitting just across the table from you having lunch (or breakfast).
What are you doing with the pear?
Gotta go to work tomorrow, I like vacation better.
I always love your photos! You have a wonderful blog. Blessings, Nancy
I have to say one thing..you are doing it right living life the way you do. I hope when Scott and I retire we do it up like you....I loved the photos
I haven't been to a Marshall's since...let's see...July, I guess. Looks like it's time to go back! lol
Kari
Your photos always show you and J are living a wonderful life together...may it be LONG and continually HAPPY.. ;-) Bo
The Bistro is one of our favorite places for breakfast. Your pictures are as beautiful as ever!!
The lake is beautiful, Pat. I love the fog lifting off the water.
I love your glasses, too! One of these days, I need to trade in my wire frames for something more modern.
Hello Pat, The explanation you gave for shooting those flowers would have scared me to death. Since we live in the mountains, I totally get the slope problem. We had to have terrace steps built to get to our lower deck.
Your lake pics are gorgeous. So are you and your dh. Frame that one Pat.
Love the dog dish too. Nice.
Hugs, Jeanne
Hi Pat, very beautiful photos. I love all the things at Marshall's I trying my best *not* to go there tomorrow after seeing the items you've shown. LOL!!! but I really needed to know what type camera to ask for this Christmas!:O) Deb
There is not much greater than a sunrise at the Lake of the Ozarks---with the fog lifting. Love your "diamonds" shot, too.
Good luck with the Dr. tomorrow!
Wonderful pictures of the Lake of the Ozarks area. Folks who haven't visited this area of the US are really missing something!
Loved On the Rise and the pictures of food items; PLUS, loved the gift shop and your purchases, too.
Best wishes on J's appt. Monday morning. Pray that everything goes well.

Hi Pat, thank you for the pictures from Marshalls. Now I know I have to go. I hope to get there some time in the next two weeks. Your home is just divine with all its fall finery in place. It looks like a wonderful welcoming place to call home. I must say also, "what a handsome good looking couple" You two make the perfect pair.
I also thought the good morning pictures from the lake were splendid also. They were awesome.
See Ya later,
Shanda
Oh Pat...
How I could see me dangling my feet in that lake! That would be so wonderful with all that is going on with my life at the moment! Thanks for always sharing your blessed life with us!
Cheers!
I enjoy seeing all the wonderful places that our great state has to offer! I love the lake photos, stunning!! Keeping J in positive thoughts and prayers!
Hi Pat, Great photo of you and J. When we get up in the morning and there is mist on the lake Bobby G. says the lake is turning over. This is a Fall thing. Have a great week! Lynn

Good morning, Sweet Pat! Thanks for popping in to see my tablescape. Oh, I just love looking at your blog. I've already seen your pictures, but scrolled down thru them again. Oh, I bought that little white pumkin tureen on your next to the last picture from Marshall's. I just love that store.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thanks for stopping by to see my Christmas settings...I had promised to do the Tuesday Tablescapes but ran out of time before I could do anything for fall...so, just went back and picked up some Christmas photos.
I am ALWAYS so ready for Christmas that I can barely get thru Thanksgiving to get to Christmas time. I know that's terrible but...can't help it. Favorite time of the year...
love, bj
Glad you enjoyed some time at the lake! I enjoy it vicariously with you, as I work the days away!
xo
Hey, it's all foggy like that at our place today too! The pictures are just fabulous. I'd love to drop in at that store and wander around but I guess the photos are just the next best thing. Thanks for sharing them :)
I happened upon your blog and enjoyed reading your post. The pictures of the lake were amazing!
I live in Arizona where we have a beautiful little Tea-room restaurant named, Aunt Pitty-Pat's, in historic downtown Glendale. Any relation?

Your photos are always amazing no matter what camera you use. I really need to learn more about photography!!!

Your photos are making me anxious to get back to the lake! I may have to go with my husband when he takes his sales trip in the week or two. I'm so glad to know that J's test results were good.
