~Beautiful~

The longer I live, the more beautiful life becomes. If you foolishly ignore beauty, you will soon find yourself without it. Your life will be impoverished. But if you invest in beauty, it will be with you all the days of your life.
~Frank Lloyd Wright

Have a beautiful weekend!
Photos in this post are, views from our deck at Lake of the Ozarks, streamside, Bennett Spring State Park and a split rail fence at the entrance to our condo complex.

I love that quote by Frank Lloyd Wright. My father was an architect and he follow the design sense of Mr Wright. I grew up in a home in Michigan, on a lake. We had trees growing up through our porch, so that they would not be cut down.

Love your beautiful pictures. Have a wonderful weekend!

Penny

As usual, your pics are spectacular. Too bad all people don't subscribe to Wright's philosophy, I'm sure the world would be a better place if they did.

Absolutely beautiful! I also love everything about nature. My parents taught me to SEE nature all around. I truly appreciate them showing me the way to SEE beauty all around. It was a lesson well learned.

I love your blog and everything you post.

Loved your question about hope chests and young women ... sadly, I think this is a practice that's stuck way back in the past. So many showers today and all of them seem to have themes ... Your photos in this post make me want to move back to MO.
PS, it really depends on what part of the country you live in as to how the wonderful prailine is pronounced ...

Stunning photos! I keep telling my husband that if only he would go outside, there is such beauty he never stops to see. But instead he sits in front of a TV! Can't get him to understand that nature is its own entertainment!

Hi, Pat..
Thanks for stopping by and telling me a little about E. Kelly. I never knew where he was born and raised...thinking that he did live in Texas somewhere at some point.
*Speaking of AK...My brother lives in Little Rock and I do love going to that state..it is so pretty in the Ozarks and once he took us to Hot Springs for some awesome baths!
*I adore all your stories...and so many seem to link with memories of mine.
I hope your Sunday is wonderful...

Pat... you know when you read or hear something and then "ching" that little lightbulb goes on above your head? Just happened to me when you told me your condo is in the Missouri Ozarks. My maternal grandparents lived in Blytheville Arkansas... (thus my referance to Arkansas) and I admit to always thinking Arkansas when I heard the word Ozarks. But... My Granddad had a little cabin in the South Missouri Ozarks... His sister (my great aunt) lived in Sikeston, MO... small world ain't it. thanks for the memory...
